An example of how things should work! Partner attended GP for second time with recurrent awful cough, despite 2 courses of antibiotics (note that no problem with getting on the day appointments either). GP was seen on time at 10.10am yesterday and was advised to get a chest x-ray. Form was given and he went to Southend Hospital arriving at 10.50. He had the x-ray and was back home by 11.30. No waiting and no unnecessary worry. Thank You!
