Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking feedback on a maternity healthy weight programme and would value your participation.

We would like to understand how a service could be personalised and provide a supportive, tailored approach to help individuals achieve and maintain a healthy weight around the time of pregnancy. We understand every journey is unique and our goal is to provide support tailored to an individual’s needs and lifestyle.

By completing the short survey (at bottom of this page) your responses will help us shape this programme, which may be available to certain groups or those people living in specific areas, and guide us, to find the best way forward. All answers will remain confidential.

Why does my weight in pregnancy make a difference?

Most women and birthing people who are overweight have a straightforward pregnancy and birth and have healthy babies. But being overweight or obese can increase the risk of complications to both you and your baby.
