Are you over 40 years old and have high blood pressure and live in mid and south Essex?

Would you like to provide your experience of living with high blood pressure to help us improve the health and care we deliver to people? This is a voluntary role starting now until March 2025 and requires approximately 1 hour per week of your time.

As part of this role you will be invited to join our monthly Cardiovascular Programme Team meeting which usually lasts for 1 hour and is currently held virtually on Microsoft Teams (MS Teams). It would therefore be beneficial if you had a device, such as a laptop or computer which has a camera and the capability to use MS Teams. If you would like to be involved but would not be able to join the meeting then we would still be interested in hearing from you. At these meetings we speak about how we could improve our services for people with high blood pressure as well as other cardiovascular projects.

As part of the programme we will also ask for your support helping us improve the management of high blood pressure.

Part of the role is also to help develop guidance so that our community clinicians know how to support people better with high blood pressure. Please contact us if you would like to know more or for an informal chat. If you do not want to be part of the programme meeting but still want to provide feedback on your experience of community services and how we can support you manage your high blood pressure please contact Candice Robinson via email: candice.robinson@nelft.nhs.uk.

Please take this short survey, which should take no longer than 10 minutes, to help us improve services for people by 11th October 2024. Thank you.
