Welcome to our engagement page for Babies, Children, and Young People in mid and south Essex.

Our dedicated teams are here to provide vital children's services, addressing all aspects of children's health issues with compassion and expertise. Whether it's managing common colds, asthma, diabetes, or supporting complex health needs, SEND services, hospitalisations, allergies, and understanding developmental stages, we are committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of every child.

At the heart of our services is a deep commitment to the health and wellbeing of families and ensuring the health and wellbeing of children is our top priority.

The NHS offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support children and their families. From routine health check-ups and vaccinations to specialised mental health support and services for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), we are dedicated to providing high-quality care for every child.

We need your feedback!

NHS Mid and South Essex is aiming to improve services for children. We are committed to listening and understanding children's needs, so that we can fairly commission the right services for the children, ensuring that no community or group is left behind, whether through strategic approaches or community initiatives. We strive to design and improve our services in response to your needs and feedback.

When we make commissioning decisions on behalf of our population, we will ensure that promoting equality is at the core of our values.

We will seek your input, listen to you on a regular basis, ask for your experiences and feedback and continue to work alongside you to make sure local health and care services are the best they can.

Your involvement is invaluable to us and there are lots of ways to participate in decision-making and have your say.

This page is designed to gather crucial feedback on our services. We are here to ensure your voice is heard, our goal is to continuously develop, improve, and lead in innovative care across our services, even as we face challenges in the public sector.

We genuinely want to hear from you. Your experiences, suggestions, and feedback are essential in helping us to provide the best possible care for our children and families. Together, we can make a difference.

The section below contains links to current projects, surveys and feedback. The You say, we did section will also provide updates on the changes and improvements made through your feedback.

We also have an ideas board for you to add your initiatives, an interactive map for organisations to add their own service related news.
