How do you prepare for winter? Have your say
As the chill of winter approaches, NHS Mid and South Essex wants to hear from you. We are launching a survey to understand how local people prepare for the colder months and to gather your perceptions of the flu vaccination. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us support our community better during the winter season.
Why your opinion matters
Winter can be a challenging time for many, with colder weather, shorter days, and the increased risk of illnesses such as flu. The flu vaccination is a crucial tool in protecting yourself and others from the flu, which can be particularly severe during the winter months. By getting vaccinated, you reduce the risk of spreading the flu to those who are more vulnerable, such as the elderly, young children, and individuals with underlying health conditions.
By sharing your experiences and thoughts, you can help shape our campaign to meet the needs of everyone in our community.
What we want to know
Our survey covers a range of topics, including:
How you and your family prepare for winter
The steps you take to stay healthy and safe during the colder months
Your views on the flu vaccination and whether you plan to get vaccinated this year
Any concerns or suggestions you have about our winter health and wellbeing campaigns
How to participate
We encourage everyone in the mid and south Essex area to take part in this survey. The survey is quick and easy to complete, taking just a few minutes of your time. It is available via the tools section below. Your responses are confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of improving our services and understanding community needs.
The survey has now closed, however you can still leave ideas on our virtual ideas board.
Virtual ideas board
In the tools section below you will also find a virtual ideas board. This is a space for our community to share suggestions on where we can distribute important information about winter health and wellbeing. As the colder months approach, we want to ensure everyone has access to vital information, including details about the flu vaccination, staying warm, and maintaining overall health. Your input can help us reach as many people as possible.
